Trend Radar
Use Trend Radar to scan rising demand, interpret source confidence, avoid noisy trends, and choose what deserves research.
What Trend Radar is for
Trend Radar is the no-niche discovery surface. It helps you find recent or repeated market signals before you know exactly what to research. It should reveal movement, pain language, product-path fit, source confidence, and noise risk without pretending that every trend is worth building.
- Use it when you need market direction, not when you already know the exact product.
- Scan for repeated buyer problems, not only popular topics.
- Treat every row as a lead for research, not a finished product idea.
How to read a trend row
A useful row should make three things visible: what is moving, who might care, and why the signal may become a sellable opportunity. Read the score together with reasons, disqualifiers, source mix, confidence, and product-path hints.
- Momentum tells you that attention or demand is changing.
- Source confidence tells you whether the evidence is broad enough to trust for the next step.
- Noise risk warns when a spike may be celebrity, sports, news, meme, controversy, or short-lived attention.
- Product-path fit suggests what might be built, but Product Studio owns the real path decision.
What counts as a strong signal
Strong signals usually appear in more than one layer: recent attention, pain language, marketplace intent, distribution fit, or ad and revenue clues. One source can start the investigation, but stronger opportunities usually show alignment across sources.
- Recent attention: people are searching, discussing, or reacting now.
- Pain language: people describe a problem, confusion, cost, or urgent desired change.
- Marketplace intent: similar products, templates, planners, tools, or downloads are already bought or searched.
- Distribution fit: creators, search channels, communities, marketplaces, or ads can plausibly reach the buyer.
When to save, watch, or reject
Do not collect every interesting trend. Save only the rows with a believable buyer, product path, and research question. Watch rows that are promising but incomplete. Reject rows where the buyer, willingness to pay, evidence, or policy fit is weak.
- Save: buyer pain and product path are specific enough for Research Center.
- Watch: movement is interesting, but evidence or timing is not ready.
- Reject: it is mostly noise, policy-sensitive, too broad, too saturated, or lacks buyer intent.
Cost and freshness expectations
Browsing cached Trend Radar results should not spend credits. Fresh manual refreshes, paid source enrichment, or deep scans may be plan-limited or credit-confirmed. Cached rows should make source freshness understandable so users know whether they are looking at a live pull or a saved result.
Best next action
The normal next step is Research Center or Opportunity Detail. Trend Radar should not push users directly into Product Builder. First prove that the signal is a real Rising Opportunity, then choose the product path.
FAQ
Does a high score mean I should build immediately?
No. A high score means the signal deserves attention. Use Research Center and Opportunity Detail before Product Studio or Product Builder.
Why can a viral topic score poorly?
A topic can have attention without buyer intent. TrendRise should rank down trends that are mostly news, celebrity, sports, memes, controversy, or entertainment unless a clear product job appears.
What does source confidence mean?
It is a practical trust signal based on the available evidence mix, freshness, and source quality. It is not proof of profit or product-market fit.
